This weekend we drove to Cedar City to be with Aaron and Vivian this fall break. Although our trip was short, and we lazied around most of the time. . . we still managed to carve pumpkins before it came to an end. Of course mine is the least complicated monster, and Michael is the most artistic Hulk. I don't understand why we put ours next to each other.
I honestly don't think I knew the extent of his pumpkins carving skills, and was surprised to see his all lit up and looking like a first prize winner in a contest (definitely signing him up for the ward one). --Me being the pre-school teacher that I am, have always found my talent in keeping crafting projects short and simple, and in five steps or less. This monster pumpkin was definitely third grade project level so I am satisfied.
Returning home wasn't easy, but it is time we pick our bums up off the couch and maybe clean up this little home of ours that I swear was hit by a tornado while we were gone.
Hope you are having a lazy weekend, and enjoying this turning of leaves and apple cider friend.
