SALT LAKE COMIC CON

Comic Con is like a giant Halloween for nerds. . . and instead of trick or treating, you go to panels and booths. I don't think I have ever seen so many grown ups in such extravagant costumes. It is one of the only times where you feel out of place if you aren't dressed up (Michael and I were okay with that, we knew our Han and Padme costumes would come in handy again).

It was a party, Lumpy Princess, Katara, Chewy, R2D2, Ghost Busters, oh and the 16th president of the United States were all there-- plus I think I saw every Sci-Fi character and super hero.  Not to mention all the creepy characters from Lord of the Rings in statue form, and zombies, zombies, zombies.

I am happy I married my nerd. Michael won the three day pass, how conveniently lucky of him-- and I wish you could all see his face when he found out that Stan Lee was going to be doing a panel.

Michael fact : Spider-Man is his ultimate comic book hero-- and Stan Lee is the man who created all the Marvel characters.

It was adorable to say the least.

Comic Con Michael and I will be back to enjoy more panels about Sasquatch and Skin Walker Ranch because we can't afford the VIP pass to get us into the ones about Mythical Sea Creatures, and Star Wars.

Happy Fall Break!!
