SPRING BREAK

I was pretty happy when spring break rolled around, because that meant no bedtime curfew, and lots of free time. We decided to stick around town for spring break because we both still have jobs that needed tending to, and house plants to water.

I guess all the late night study hours finally caught up to me, because I began to feel sick immediately when spring break officially kicked off, and it decided to last all week. I guess now is as good a time as ever... so in all my free time, I laid down and tried not to think about food (and prayed for it to please hurry and leave because I finally had time to spend with my husband!).

Basically I did nothing, until Saturday.

Which was okay! Because one day is better than none. Michael had work in the morning, so I dusted off my climbing shoes and took my baby sister climbing for her first time. After having not climbed for so long, the most simplest tasks afterward, (like scooping out ice cream-- which is a necessary task on a Saturday night... and every other night) were that much more difficult.

It was so fun to spend some time together, and definitely worth the weak arms. Later, Michael, his new friend, and I went thrifting in Salt Lake and ate some Island food. It was perfect-- and I was just happy to  be eating something other than saltine crackers! As much as I hated being ill, it was nice to catch up on some lost hours of sleep... which I heard you can't really do, but I am pretty sure it helped me mentally/physically prepare for the next half of this semester.

Today we soaked up some rays in one of my favorite places to bid this week farewell.
--and I baked... kind of.

I hope you had a fun healthy spring break friends!
