I had my first cadaver experience recently which I am probably overly proud about. But you would be too! I wasn't that scared until my professor started giving us the breakdown on what to do if we felt like we were going to pass out or be sick-- immediately lie down or inevitably we will lose our teeth or crack our skull tumbling to the ground. Fifteen minutes later and white as a sheet I'm sure, because as I looked around I realized half the class was, I entered the lab clinging to the walls and searching for anything sturdy to prop myself up against, just in case... but to my relief I didn't pass out.
Unfortunately I had a hard time the following week eating meat, but that quickly passed because we all know I am a carnivore, but I am working on becoming more of and omnivore these days for my zippers sake.
A much needed getaway this weekend was the best thing to happen to me in the last two months. And so was the 75 degree weather that came with it-- and an excuse to brush the dust off my camera that hasn't been used since Christmas time. (Thank you sweet niece for turning 8 and living in St. George!)
