I have plenty of new years resolutions I have mentally stashed away through out the year. Slowly I am remembering them one by one, and because the clock struck twelve I am out of excuses. Luckily most of them were things like, try to do the laundry more than once a week, change your oil on time, and don't eat starbursts for breakfast. Definitely doable. I am mostly concerned about the fact that I just changed my major one week before school starts.
Certainly I have been contemplating this for a long time now, it is basically the second biggest decision of my life. But sometimes my timing isn't always the best. Bottom line, I finally made a decision that I am happy about which is beyond relief for me (and Michael who has had to put up with me and my stressed out self). But if procrastination and heavy decision making weren't difficult enough going into the new semester, the only class I could really get into involving my major was Human Anatomy. Which I was recently told it is the hardest anatomy class in the state of Utah...
Remind me to add to my list, work on memorization skills and try not be freaked out about the human body.
This year is going to be a tough one academically speaking, but I am still excited. I love learning, and I love coming home after school and talking to Michael about all the cool things we learned that day. I feel fortunate that I get to go to school and get my very own education. And it is after all the place I fell in love with Michael. I will never forget my first day of painting class, and talking to the most handsome boy. Then going art supply shopping, and becoming the most talkative pair in class. Miss Sally Poet would have to forgive the forces of nature bringing us together. (Oh freshman year!)
Well wish me luck, because I definitely need it.
These are photos from new years, and ice castle touring in Midway with my family.
