BREAKFAST, "The most important meal of the day!"

Last week Michael came down with the flu putting our grocery shopping on hold again, we've only been putting this off for a couple weeks now. --I know I could have just gone by myself but we agreed we have more success as a team... and I like having a shopping companion who will make up dinner concoctions on the spot with me because we never plan a menu or shopping list (this is a work in progress, I actually brought one recipe this time). Our empty shelves and growling tummies finally took it's toll and we made time restock our kitchen once again.

I am not a very big breakfast person-- and am well aware that this is the most important meal of the day (Michael is always there to remind me).  He will be proud to know that I made breakfast this morning, and a healthy one at that. I guess the excitement of actually having some food got to me, and I do love breakfast food, even if I don't always eat it at breakfast time.

The only thing missing is my tall dark and handsome this morning. He is hard at work long before I wake up, --his job is forcing him to be a morning person. Which I am aspiring to, but probably not 5:30 early... ever.

I hope you are enjoying this week, and maybe some fully stocked shelves of food.. It is nice (a bigger effort will be made to keep it this way). Also our pet lady bug we impressively cared for about two and half weeks is officially missing somewhere in our house. We hope he finds his way home to his plant, and wasn't eaten by any of the box elder bugs that have been appearing everywhere.

Well  happy Thursday from one sad lady bug lover.
