BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE

Maybe it's because my love and I were married in the Winter time, or it could be that building snowmen, and bundling up in our cozy little place always sounds appealing, whatever the case, it has got me giddy this holiday season. I am not one to decorate, or listen to Christmas music all day everyday, but I have been feeling quite festive as of late.

I have been enjoying some of my favorite tunes, like Sweet Carol Bells, Santa Baby, and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer (of course). I even strung some colorful lights, and dressed the bed with Holiday flannel sheets.

But I have not forgotten Thanksgiving, how could I? A day meant for giving thanks and stuffing our faces is obviously something I look forward to. Plus the crafting projects in pre-school during this time, are the best.

So I am happily embracing this Holiday season, and the chilly weather. It means I am that much closer to the end of the semester, lots of family time, and my one year anniversary with Michael Perry. I am also looking forward to buying some sturdy winter boots, to withstand the freezing Utah temperatures. Going to class with sopping wet socks and boots after a snowy blizzard last year, is something to laugh about now, but --Mother Nature, I learned my lesson. Also I hope to purchase a nice winter coat, I choose warm comfort over fashion after December. -- I guess you can say that is my Christmas wishlist, oh and oranges, because they are so good at Christmas time, and fit perfectly at the bottom of stockings.

Top photo was taken this weekend, when we attempted to make some caramel apples. I know, they do in fact look like children made them, but tasted scrumptious. Middle photo was a short venture to Park City with Steph, and visiting shops with all things pretty on Main Street.

Stay warm friends!
